The healing Blood of Christ – a clear conscience from the Blood of Jesus given to us in the Eucharist. Try this: when the priest elevates the bread to consecrate it, put the people you are struggling with in the middle of the Hosts; when the priest elevates the wine to consecrate it, put the problems you are having with these people in the Blood. Then when you receive Communion, receive Jesus and the people – minus the problems, because the blood of Christ “cleanse[s] our consciences” – the Blood of Christ cleanses us from unrighteousness and sin.
