OCIA is for those who:
Wish to explore the teaching of the Catholic Church with the desire to become Catholic.
Are either baptized or unbaptized.
Are 19 years and older.
OCIA is a journey of faith:
• It is a process by which men and women enter the Catholic Church.
• It is a journey in that you are paired with a Catholic sponsor to help guide you along the way.
• You will join other candidates and sponsors in the form of weekly classes that begin in September, culminating with the entry into the Catholic Church the night before Easter.
OCIA is about the Sacraments: Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Communion) are typically celebrated at the Easter Vigil mass. At this time, those participating in OCIA become full members of the Catholic Church. For more information to register for OCIA or if Sundays conflict with your schedule, please contact Fr. OICA (orden de iniciacion Cristiana para Adultos) es para aquellos que: Desean explorar la enseñanza de la Iglesia Católica con el deseo de convertirse en católicos.
Están bautizados o no bautizados.
Tienen 19 años o más.OCIA es un viaje de fe:
• Es un proceso por el cual hombres y mujeres entran en la Iglesia Católica.
• Es un viaje en el que se emparejan con un patrocinador católico para ayudar a guiarles en el camino.
• Se unirán a otros candidatos y patrocinadores en forma de clases semanales que comienzan en septiembre, culminando con la entrada en la Iglesia Católica la noche antes de la Pascua. OCIA se trata de los Sacramentos: Los Sacramentos de Iniciación (Bautismo, Confirmación y Comunión) se celebran típicamente en la misa de Vigilia Pascual.
