This Lenten Season, we invite members of Sts. Peter & Paul Parish and our guests to add their personal, anonymous petitions to the prayer baskets in the sanctuary. At each mass, we will include these petitions to those read at each mass. Praying for others gets our focus off of ourselves and onto the
needs around us. As we “carry each other’s burdens,” we “will fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2).
Esta Cuaresma, invitamos a los miembros de la Parroquia de San Pedro y San Pablo y a nuestros invitados a añadir sus peticiones personales y anónimas a las canastas de oración en el santuario. En cada misa, incluiremos estas peticiones junto con las que se leen en cada celebración. Orar por los demás nos ayuda a apartar la mirada de nosotros mismos y a centrarnos en las necesidades que nos rodean. Al “llevar los unos las cargas de los otros,”“cumpliremos así la ley de Cristo” (Gálatas 6:2).v
